How to setup Dropbox for the Mashbooth App

All the photos from your photo booth need to be stored in Dropbox in order for the Mashbooth App to link wirelessly to them. This allows you to remotely manage the photos from your event from virtually anywhere.

Create a root folder for your event in Dropbox then, inside your root folder, create 4 folders to store the different types of files that are made by your photo booth or DSLR tethering software. Your root folder should be named the same name as the event. Also, we recommend naming each folder inside your root folder the following: “Prints”, “Singles”, “Gifs”, “Overlays”.

  • 1. Prints and single photos are files made by your photobooth software.
  • 2. GIF files are made by your photo booth software or the Mashbooth App.
  • 3. GIF and Single overlay files are optional and can be prepared by you prior to the event.
  • 4. Your custom overlays must be in .png format and have the following image size: Single Overlay – 1844 x 1240 pixels (1240 x 1844 if portraits), GIF Overlay – 1000 x 1000 pixels.
